A four stage expedition across the world. Two world records. One man and his dog.

In life, we often come across individuals whose sheer determination and boundless ambition leave us in awe. Recently, I had the extraordinary privilege of meeting a true inspiration – a guy named Mitch, whose dream to set not one, but two world records through a global, charity expedition that involves climbing Mount Everest, all in aid of SAVSIM.

I am eager to share the captivating story of this remarkable individual and his quest for greatness.

The Expedition

The Swim

The Swim Phase is a 34-kilometre swim across the infamous English channel, from Shakespeare's Cliff near Dover to Cap Gris Nez near Calais in France.

The Cycle

The Cycle and longest Phase will see me peddle over 10,000-kilometres from Calais in France, heading East across Europe and Asia into eastern India.

The Trek

The third phase will see me cover over 900-kilometres on foot, from sea level at Digha beach in West Bengal in India to Nepal, Kathmandu.

The Climb

The fourth and final phase will see me cover over 350-kilometers from Kathmandu to the Himalayas and to the foot of Mt Everest before climbing to the top of the world.

As Mitch prepares to take on this remarkable adventure, I am certain that his determination, courage, and compassionate heart will carry him to new heights and inspire countless others to chase their dreams relentlessly. So, let us all rally behind this extraordinary individual as he steps into the unknown, and may his story remind us that the world is full of possibilities for those who dare to dream big and embrace the challenges that lie ahead.
